Favorite Recipe Friday

For the past several years, I've been making fresh pumpkin pie rather than the traditional recipe on the back of the pumpkin can. This year I used pumpkins that we grew in our garden.



Fresh Pumpkin Pie

2 cups cooked pumpkin
1/2 cup honey
1 Tablespoon molasses
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
dash nutmeg
dash cloves

Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until combined. Smooth out in an unbaked pie crust. Bake 1 hour at 350 or until knife comes out clean.
