Tired

I am tired. Not just need more sleep tired. I am tired of everything. Tired of cleaning rooms,clothes,dishes... then 5 minutes later start all over again. I am tired of, gasp! facebook. I am tired of myself. I wake up each morning thinking of all the things I will get done that day. How this will be the day I will get it all done. School, meals, exercise, and have time left over to just ENJOY the boys.

Then I get up, get Brian fed and off to work and read my Bible. The kids start to get up and I do good for a while. Then fussing starts, asking for a snack for the first of a hundred times starts.

School starts and who knows if it will be a good day or not. We average about 1 REALLY good day out of 4. We take Mondays off since Brian is off that day.

I just want a change. I don't know what kind, just a change.

I did change my looks. Brian cut off 6-8 inches of my hair last weekend, at my request. I now have a chin bob and really love it. But I am still restless.

I have been on an emotional roller coaster lately. We thought a big change was coming and then that got shot down. Now we can see God was saving us from serious heartache. I guess I am still not over the disappointment even though God saved us from it. Just the thought of somewhere new and different was so exciting.

No real point to all this blabbering. Just hoping typing it out would help.

School Project

I am planning to try something new for school. Besides the regular book work.

This morning as I was grabbing down the phone book, I saw last years calendar. Since it had some pretty pictures, quotes and verses,I didn't want to just chuck the whole thing. So I started cutting it all apart.

My not so original plan is to use the small pictures and verses to make homemade cards. As for the quotes, Luke,Jacob, Caleb and I will cut out each word, sort into nouns,verb,adjectives,etc. And make up new sayings to paste onto the cards.

Hopefully, it will be a fun learning time together. Good reinforcement of all those grammar rules. Now to quit thinking how neat, and actually do it! If it turns out, I'll be sure to post pics!

I am so terrible about updating here regularly.

I guess I feel not much happens that anyone would really care to read about.

So why do I keep this blog? Good question. Because every once in a while something does happen that I feel like sharing. Not that I do today though. lol

Facebook has also cut into my time here. I can condense into a couple sentences and be done.

If anyone cares, I'll talk about today's activities. We got school done this morning. We put together a box mix of homemade marshmallows. I made homemade crackers that turned out really good! I am also making a spinach artichoke dip to have with our hamburgers for dinner.

No major plans for the weekend. But with Brian's 3 day week ends now I'm sure we'll come up with some fun activities.
